Can I cancel my hosting plan at any time?
Customers Paying Yearly
Yes. You may cancel your hosting account at any time. If you purchase a hosting plan on a yearly basis, then we don't store your card details for renewals, so we will not automatically renew your account or take any money off your card. Instead, we send you a renewal reminder by email. You can simply ignore, or stop these renewal reminders if you do not wish to renew and your account will expire.
Please note that as we send renewal reminders by email, it's very important that we can contact you by email. This means you should always keep us informed if you change your email address. You should also make sure that your SPAM filter doesn't block messages from sales/support@plugsocket.com.
Customers Paying Monthly
Yes. You may cancel your hosting account at any time. You are not tied into a contract for a set period of time and you will have complete control over your monthly hosting payments. You can either write to us and ask us to cancel them for you, or you can cancel them yourself as follows:-
- Login to the WorldPay Shopper Management System (If you do not know your Worldpay password details (these would have been sent to you by Worldpay on signup), then please click where it says 'Forgotten your password?'. You will need to know your futurepay number (which can be found on any of the monthly invoices we have sent to you) and the email address that you signed up with. You should then be able to retrieve your username and password which will be sent to the email address you signed up with. If you no longer have access to that email address, then you will need to contact us to get it updated first.
- On the Shopper Management System home page, under Customer FuturePay Agreements (near the bottom of the page), select the Change Details button. Note: If you have more than one Agreement, select the Change Details button that corresponds to the agreement you want to cancel.
- This takes you to the FuturePay Agreement Details page. Click on the Cancel button. Note: If the agreement has already been cancelled, this button is no longer displayed.
- You are asked to confirm the cancellation.
- Check that you have selected the correct Agreement (if you have more than one) before clicking Yes.
Please Note:
- Please ensure that you have selected the correct agreement, as you cannot reverse the cancellation once you have confirmed the action. If you cancel the wrong agreement, please contact us.
