How long does it take to set up a hosting account?
If you apply during normal office hours and pay by credit card, then we aim to set you up within 4 hours. Outside normal office hours, please expect it to take a bit longer than this. If paying by cheque, we shall set you up on receipt of the cheque, unless you are ordering a domain name at the same time, when we shall not register the domain name until the cheque has cleared.
Although we shall set up your account within 4 hours, it can take up to 72 hours (but is usually within 24 hours) for your domain to resolve to your new hosting account. Information that will allow you to upload and preview your site before the domain resolves, will be sent to you, along with your login details once you have signed up.
Please make sure that you have whitelisted sales/support@plugsocket.com in your email client, to ensure that our emails do not get caught in any SPAM filters.
