What is an FTP Client?

An FTP Client is software that can transfer files back and forth between your computer and a web server. You would normally use an FTP client to upload your website. Examples of FTP Clients are Cute FTP, WS-FTP, Terrapin FTP, Smart FTP and Fetch FTP (Mac OS).
