I have received an email to say that I have used up my space quota. What are my options?
You may receive an email which looks like this with the subject "Note: Current disk space consumption has reached a CRITICAL limit." This is an automated email sent directly from the server warning you that you have either used up or nearly used up your disk space allowance.
When your disk space is almost used up, this could cause you problems with databases or email. You will need to either remove unneeded emails and files, to reduce the amount of space used or otherwise upgrade your plan. If you would like to upgrade, then please send us an email.
If you use webmail (http://example.com/webmail where example.com is your domain name), you need to make sure that the Trash folder is emptied, or alternatively select the option not to use the Trash folder so that mail is completely deleted when you delete it and not stored in the Trash folder, thereby adding to the disk space used.
If you have selected in your control panel (http://www.example.com/user where example.com is your domain name) the option to move SPAM to the blocked folder (only do this if you are using webmail or IMAP), please make sure that this folder is subscribed to and checked regularly, so that the SPAM emails are not using up space on your account. If you have not subscribed to the spam folder, then you need to login to webmail (http://www.example.com/webmail where example.com is your domain name), click on the folder tab, highlight the 'spam' folder and click subscribe.
